SeaNXT Elite Charger — Overview
The SeaNXT Elite Charger is the original variable-output charger for the SeaNXT Elite underwater scooter — a single charger that covers slow, standard and fast charge modes with an adjustable 1–15 A output. No separate fast-charger accessory needed.
A simple toggle lever sets the output current, and the LCD shows the chosen current value live. Slow charging extends battery life over the long term; fast charging refills the 24 Ah pack in about 96 minutes for back-to-back dives. Universal 110–240 VAC input works on every grid worldwide.
Variable 1–15 A Output
Three practical modes in one charger: slow (1–3 A, long-term cell protection), standard (4–9 A, daily turnaround) and fast (10–15 A, back-to-back charter sessions). Switch with the toggle lever; the screen confirms the live current.
Universal Input — 110–240 VAC
Works on every household and yacht grid worldwide — EU 230 V, US 110 V, marine inverters. Plug adapters only.
51 VDC Charging — Optimised for 48 V Pack
The 51 VDC output matches the SeaNXT Elite’s 48 V lithium-ion pack constant-voltage stage — protects cell life and avoids overcharge.
Battery-Life Protection
Lower charge currents reduce stress on the lithium-ion cells and slow long-term degradation. Use slow / standard charging for storage and casual use; fast charging for high-tempo dive days.

Adjustable Charging — How It Works
Lithium-ion cells live longer when they’re charged at lower currents. The variable Elite charger lets you choose the trade-off you need:
| Mode | Current | Time to Full | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slow | 1–3 A | ~5–6 h | Storage, long-term cell protection, occasional use |
| Standard | 4–9 A | ~2–3 h | Daily turnaround, recreational use |
| Fast | 10–15 A | ~1 h 36 min | Back-to-back guest dives, charter operations |
Who is the Variable Charger for?
The Elite Charger is designed specifically for SeaNXT Elite owners:
- Existing SeaNXT Elite owners who need a spare charger for yacht / shore / travel
- Yacht and charter operators who run back-to-back guest dives and need the 1 h 36 min fast charge
- Battery-life-conscious owners who use slow charging on storage cycles to maximise pack lifespan
- Multi-location owners with units at home + yacht + holiday villa who want a dedicated charger at each location
This charger is only compatible with the SeaNXT Elite battery — not with SEABOB, Sublue or other scooter brands.
FAQ — Charge Rates, Compatibility & Care
Which scooter is this charger for?
The SeaNXT Elite Charger is compatible only with the SeaNXT Elite and its 48 V / 24 Ah lithium-ion battery. Do not use with other scooter brands.
How fast can the charger refill the battery?
From empty to full in approximately 96 minutes (~1 h 36 min) at the highest 15 A current. Slower currents take proportionally longer.
Why use slow charging?
Lower currents put less stress on the lithium-ion cells, which extends pack lifespan over the long term. Use slow charging when you don’t need a quick turnaround.
Can I use the charger on a yacht grid?
Yes — the 110–240 VAC universal input works on every yacht inverter and shore grid worldwide. Plug adapters only.
How do I change the charge mode?
Flip the toggle lever on the charger; the LCD instantly confirms the new output current.
Is this an original SeaNXT product?
Yes — supplied direct from SeaNXT, identical to the charger shipped with the original Elite scooter package.
Can I charge the battery outside the scooter?
The SeaNXT Elite is designed to be charged with the battery in place. Battery removal requires a qualified technician.
What if I leave the charger plugged in after full charge?
The BMS in the Elite battery cuts off when the pack is full. For long storage, unplug after a few hours past full charge.
Can I travel with the charger?
Yes — the universal AC input makes it travel-friendly. The battery itself is subject to airline lithium-ion regulations.
What does the LCD show?
The live charging current set on the toggle lever. Useful for verifying the chosen charge rate before starting the cycle.
Can I overcharge the battery with the fast setting?
No — the Elite battery’s BMS protects against overcharge. Fast charging only affects the time-to-full and long-term cell wear, not safety.
Does this charger come with the Elite scooter?
Yes — one charger is included with the full SeaNXT Elite set. This listing covers spare or replacement chargers.
