The Waydoo Flyer Evo – Lite is the most accessible electric hydrofoil in Waydoo’s Flyer EVO range and one of the easiest ways to get into eFoiling. Built around a lightweight 90 L EPP board and a smooth 4000 W drive, it delivers stable lift-off, forgiving balance and relaxed, intuitive control – ideal for first-time riders, families sharing one board and anyone who wants room to progress.

Lightweight 90 L EPP Board
Advanced EPP construction combines durability, low weight and scratch resistance. At roughly 10 kg, the 90 L board is easy to carry and offers confident buoyancy for easy starts – protecting both rider and board in rougher conditions.
Powerflight Battery & Fast Charging
The standard 1800 Wh Powerflight battery keeps weight down for agility on the water; the optional 2300 Wh pack extends ride time. A charger is included, and with the optional Inverter Charger you get high-speed charging plus reverse-charging – the battery can power other devices when needed.
LED-Lit Modular Mast
The aluminum mast features built-in multicolor LED lights you can control from the remote – choose from several modes for a striking visual effect on the water. Available in 27″ (standard) or 35″ (optional).
Effortless Bluetooth Remote
The upgraded EVO remote offers an intuitive UI with a day/night display and fast Bluetooth pairing, finished with a secure silicone wrist strap and a magnetic key for safe power control. Optical signal transmission ensures stable, reliable communication with the board.
Wings & Foil Setup
Your front wing defines the character of the ride. The Lite comes standard with the efficient, forgiving Gliding G1500 glassfiber wing; you can select a different front wing as an upgrade:
- Gliding G1500 (glassfiber, standard): large 1500 cm² profile with a soft, damped feel – easy lift-off, stability at low speed and a forgiving ride. Perfect for learning and relaxed cruising.
- Voyager C1100 (carbon, upgrade): smaller 1100 cm² wing – less drag, more agility and sharper, faster turns for intermediate and advancing riders.
- Voyager C1500 (carbon, upgrade): 1500 cm² carbon wing – lots of lift with a stiffer, more direct response than the glassfiber G1500.
- Gliding C1500 (carbon, upgrade): high-aspect 1500 cm² carbon wing – the most efficient and fastest of the four, with easy lift and excellent glide.
Front & tail combination: the Lite includes the stable Gliding Tail 320, which keeps pitch calm and predictable – ideal for flat-water freeride and learning. A larger front wing (1500) paired with this tail gives maximum stability; a smaller front wing (1100) makes the setup livelier and quicker to carve. A carbon Surfing Tail 322 (available as accessory) adds a more playful, surf-style feel.

Yes. The high-volume 90 L board, forgiving Gliding G1500 wing and smooth standard propulsion make take-off and balance easy, so most riders are up and foiling quickly.
How fast is the Flyer Evo – Lite?
Top speed is around 36 km/h (22.4 mph) – plenty for cruising and learning, while keeping the ride calm and controllable.
How long does the battery last?
The standard 1800 Wh battery delivers up to about 100 minutes of ride time, depending on rider weight, speed and conditions. The optional 2300 Wh pack extends this further.
Can I upgrade the battery later?
Yes. The Flyer EVO system is modular. You can choose the 2300 Wh battery for longer sessions, either at purchase or as a later upgrade.
Which front wing should I choose?
The standard Gliding G1500 (glassfiber) is forgiving and ideal for learning and cruising. For more speed and efficiency, upgrade to the carbon Gliding C1500 or Voyager C1500; for sharper, more agile turns choose the smaller Voyager C1100. Carbon wings feel stiffer and more responsive than glassfiber.
How heavy and portable is it?
The 90 L EPP board weighs only around 10 kg, and the Powerflight battery is the heaviest single module. Because the system is modular, you can carry and assemble it in parts. For transport on land, the optional Mover wheel set is available separately.

Which mast should I choose – 27″ or 35″?
The 27″ mast is more forgiving and ideal for beginners and choppier water; the 35″ mast suits taller riders and deeper, cleaner water for more dynamic carving. Both feature multicolor LED lighting.
What is the difference between the standard and inverter charger?
The Powerflight charger covers everyday charging. The inverter charger adds faster charging and reverse-charging capability, letting the battery act as a power source for other devices.
Does the Lite have sensors or GPS?
