JetWave Air 230 – INFORMATION
The JetWave Air 230 is the largest and most stable board in the JetWave Air line — a 230 L inflatable eFoil built for maximum stability, shared experiences and effortless progression. With exceptional buoyancy and support for riders up to 130 kg, it is the ultimate choice for families, beginners and anyone who wants extra space and confidence on the water. Explore the full range in our eFoil collection.
With the same modular JetWave drive system as the rest of the range, the Air 230 lets you tune power module, battery and charger to your riders and your budget.
230 L — Maximum Stability & Buoyancy
The extra-large 230 L inflatable board delivers exceptional buoyancy for smooth, relaxed take-offs and the most stable, forgiving platform JetWave makes. It is the easiest board to learn on and the most reassuring for heavier riders — supporting up to 130 kg.
Built for Families, Beginners & Sharing
One board the whole group can ride: lightweight riders, heavier riders and complete first-timers. The size and stability make the Air 230 ideal for families, friends sharing a session, and eFoil schools and rental fleets that need a board many different guests can ride with confidence.
Jet Propulsion (Non-Contact)
The inboard jet drive eliminates exposed propellers — safer for riders and easier to maintain. Choose between the Aluminum 60A and Aluminum 75A power modules to match your riders.
Endurance, Performance & Quantum Batteries
Start with the standard Endurance battery, or upgrade to the Performance battery or the new Quantum solid-state battery for higher energy density, improved thermal stability and a longer lifespan. Pair either with the Fast Charger or the optional Super Charger for shorter downtime.
2.8″ Color Touch Remote with 4G + SOS
The wireless remote replaces traditional buttons with a 2.8″ interactive color touchscreen, streams live ride data over an integrated 4G module and includes a one-touch SOS function — a meaningful safety net on open water.
Included Adjustable Handlebar
The Air 230 comes with a detachable handlebar as standard. It integrates the eFoil remote, so you control speed with a thumb throttle while holding on securely instead of carrying the remote in your hand. The height adjusts for riders of different sizes, and the handlebar can be removed entirely to ride with the handheld remote like any other eFoil — one of the reasons the Air 230 is so approachable for beginners and families.

JetWave Air 230 FAQ
Who is the Air 230 best for?
The Air 230 is the largest, most stable and most forgiving board in the JetWave Air line. Its 230 L inflatable hull and 130 kg rider capacity make it the easiest board to learn on, the best choice for heavier riders, and the natural pick for families and groups who share one board. It is also a strong choice for eFoil schools and rental fleets.
How much weight can the Air 230 carry?
The Air 230 supports riders up to 130 kg. The exceptional 230 L buoyancy keeps even heavier riders stable and makes take-offs smooth and relaxed.
Does the Air 230 include a handlebar?
Yes — a detachable handlebar is included as standard. It integrates the remote for thumb-throttle speed control, adjusts in height for different riders, and can be fully removed when you prefer the handheld remote. It makes balancing and steering noticeably easier, which is ideal for first-timers and lighter riders.
What are the advantages of an inflatable eFoil?
An inflatable board packs down small for easy transport and storage, is lighter to carry, and absorbs impacts far better than a hard shell — ideal for travel, limited storage, and high-traffic rental use, without giving up the ride quality of the JetWave drive system.
What is the difference between the Aluminum 60A and Aluminum 75A power module?
Both are robust, aerospace-grade jet power modules with the same 6 kW jet drive — the difference is mast length. The Aluminum 60A has a 60 cm mast and is the standard, specifically designed for the Air 230 with beginner-friendly, stable handling. The Aluminum 75A has a 75 cm mast and is offered at no surcharge for riders who want a little more height and flexibility. Both deliver the same smooth, controlled power.
Which battery should I choose — Endurance, Performance or Quantum?
The Endurance battery is the standard option. The Performance battery is optimised for higher current draw. The Quantum is JetWave’s solid-state battery, with the highest energy density, improved thermal stability and the longest lifespan.
How does the Air 230 compare to the Air 150 and Air 100?
The Air 230 (230 L) is the largest and most stable, built for maximum confidence, heavier riders and sharing. The Air 150 (150 L) is the stable all-rounder, and the Air 100 (100 L) is the most agile and responsive for lighter riders.
Can I ride the Air 230 in saltwater?
Yes — the board is designed for flat water, lakes and sea. After every saltwater session, rinse the board, mast, drive unit and wing with fresh water. The battery, remote and charger have sealed housings and should never be submerged.
Can I upgrade my battery later?
Yes. The Air 230 uses the same modular JetWave components as the rest of the range, so you can start with the Endurance battery now and add a Performance or Quantum battery as an accessory later.
