JetWave Carbon 55 – INFORMATION
The JetWave Carbon 55 is the lightest, most focused board in the JetWave Carbon line — an ultra-light 6.8 kg full-carbon monocoque built for pro riders and advanced eFoilers who demand razor-sharp response and absolute control. Explore the full range in our eFoil collection.
Compact and uncompromising, the Carbon 55 translates every subtle rider input into immediate acceleration and stays composed at top speed. Its minimalist 55 L deck sharpens edge-to-edge performance and rewards riders who ride with confidence and finesse. Foot straps are fully removable for a clean deck and a personalised setup.
Ultra-Light Full-Carbon Monocoque
At just 6.8 kg, the Carbon 55 is engineered as a single full-carbon monocoque shell. The low weight and compact 55 L volume give the board its signature direct, race-ready feel — instant response, tight turning and a pure rider-to-water connection.
Jet Propulsion (Non-Contact)
The inboard jet drive eliminates exposed propellers — safer for riders and easier to maintain. Choose between the Aluminum 75A standard power module and the lighter, fully carbon-encased Carbon 80C upgrade for improved balance and quicker take-off.
Endurance, Performance & Quantum Batteries
The Carbon 55 ships with the standard Endurance battery (2.4 kWh, 55 Ah) for 120+ minutes of riding and 1000+ charge cycles. Upgrade to the lighter Performance battery for a more agile feel, or the new Quantum solid-state battery for the highest energy density, improved thermal stability and the longest lifespan. Pair any battery with the Fast Charger or the optional Super Charger (40-minute fast charge).
2.8″ Color Touch Remote with 4G + SOS
The wireless remote replaces traditional buttons with a 2.8″ interactive color touchscreen, streams live ride data over an integrated 4G module and includes a one-touch SOS function — a meaningful safety net on open water.

JetWave Carbon 55 FAQ
Who is the Carbon 55 for?
The Carbon 55 is the most focused board in the JetWave Carbon line. With a compact 55 L volume and an ultra-light 6.8 kg full-carbon shell, it is built for advanced and pro riders who want maximum responsiveness, tight turning and a direct rider-to-water connection. Beginners are better served by the larger Carbon 75 or Carbon 100.
How is the Carbon 55 different from the Carbon 75 and Carbon 100?
The three boards share the same JetWave drive system, batteries, wings and 2.8″ 4G remote, but differ in volume and character: the Carbon 55 (55 L) is the lightest and most agile, the Carbon 75 (75 L) is the balanced performance board, and the Carbon 100 (100 L) offers the most lift and stability for heavier riders and beginners.
What is the difference between the Aluminum 75A and Carbon 80C power module?
The Aluminum 75A is the standard module — robust and aerospace-grade. The Carbon 80C upgrade is fully encased in carbon fiber, weighs noticeably less and improves the board’s balance during take-off. Riders chasing top-end speed and quicker turns benefit most.
Which battery should I choose — Endurance, Performance or Quantum?
The Endurance battery is the standard option (2.4 kWh) with the longest cycle life. The Performance battery is lighter for a more agile, sportier feel. The Quantum is JetWave’s solid-state battery, with the highest energy density, best thermal stability and the longest overall lifespan.
Which wing set should I choose — Racing or Sport?
Racing has the smallest surface area for the highest top speed and demands experience and active riding. Sport is the all-rounder, with balanced lift and top speed — the easier, more versatile choice on the Carbon 55.
What is the difference between the Fast Charger and Super Charger?
Both charge the JetWave batteries safely; the Super Charger upgrade significantly shortens charging time so you can get back on the water faster between sessions.
Can I ride the Carbon 55 in saltwater?
Yes — the board is designed for flat water, lakes and sea. After every saltwater session, rinse the board, mast, drive unit and wings with fresh water. The battery, remote and charger have sealed housings and should never be submerged.
Can I upgrade my battery later?
Yes. The Carbon 55 batteries use the same modular socket, so you can buy the board with the Performance battery now and add a Quantum battery as an accessory later. Both power modules are compatible with either battery.
