Does the mast fit fully assembled?
Yes — the bag is designed so you can transport the drive unit assembled, which saves time when packing up after a session.
How is the propeller protected?
The padded interior includes additional reinforcement around the propeller area to prevent impact damage during transport.
Can I carry it on my shoulder?
Yes. The bag has a padded shoulder strap as well as a reinforced grab handle for short carries.
Is the bag waterproof?
The outer shell is water-resistant and the lining dries quickly. The bag is not designed to be submerged — rinse with fresh water after each session.
Does it also fit the Aeroloop?
The Aeroloop is shipped separately and is best transported in its own packaging. The bag is shaped around the drive unit.
Can I store the drive unit in this bag long-term?
Yes — for off-season storage we recommend drying the drive unit thoroughly, applying a thin coat of Corrosion-X to the motor housing, and storing the bag in a dry, ventilated space.
How does the Drive Unit Bag differ from the Inflatable Bag Hyperfly & Airfly?
The Inflatable Bag is sized for the deflated Hyperfly (230 L) and Airfly (150 L) boards. The Drive Unit Bag Classic is sized specifically for the drive unit assembly — they complement each other rather than overlap.
How heavy is the empty bag?
Approximately 2 kg — light enough to leave inside the car or stack with other gear.
Are replacement straps available?
