The Aerofoils Competition eDrive is the race-tuned upgrade for experienced eFoilers who already master shielded propulsion and want to push top-end speed, acceleration and hydrodynamic efficiency to the maximum. Ideal as drive replacement on existing Audi e-tron eFoil boards, as a second drive unit for charter operations, or as a pro spare. Not the first choice for absolute beginners — the reduced shielding rewards confident water-feel and clean stance over the foil.

Can I retrofit my Adventure or Performance board with the Competition eDrive?

Yes — the Competition eDrive uses the same mounting standard as the Performance Jetdrive and can be retrofitted on any Aerofoils Audi e-tron eFoil board. Note the riding character changes: less shielding, higher top end, less beginner-friendly.

What is the difference to the Performance Jetdrive?

The Competition eDrive is the race-tuned variant — reduced shielding for higher hydrodynamic efficiency and a longer / cleaner flight at high speed. The Performance Jetdrive has a fully shielded protective cage around the impeller and is the safer beginner/intermediate choice.
