Waydoo x Jobe EPIX – Information
The Waydoo x Jobe EPIX is a collaboration between Waydoo and watersports specialist Jobe, combining Waydoo’s proven EVO drivetrain with Jobe’s inflatable board expertise. It lifts you above the surface with a silent yet powerful surge, turning every ride into pure flight. The highlight is the board line-up: a high-volume 115 L beginner board and a compact 80 L board – interchangeable in minutes – plus a hardboard, covering every skill level and condition. The whole package packs down small and is easy to store and travel with.
Mechanically it shares the easy-going EVO Lite setup (4000 W Standard propulsion, no sensors), so it is approachable and fun. Explore the full eFoil collection to compare models.
Interchangeable Boards
Start on the stable 115 L inflatable for confident take-offs, then switch to the livelier 80 L board as you progress – change board size in minutes. A hardboard is also included for a more performance-oriented feel. Inflatable construction is light, forgiving and travel-friendly, and a pump plus two transport bags are included.
Easy, Approachable Ride
With the 4000 W Standard propulsion and a top speed of around 36 km/h, the EPIX is relaxed and intuitive – ideal for learning and cruising. Like the EVO Lite it is sensor-free, keeping it simple and affordable.
Modular EVO Components
EPIX uses the modular Flyer EVO drivetrain, so battery, mast, charger and front wing can be configured and upgraded over time.
Bluetooth Remote
The EVO Bluetooth remote offers an intuitive day/night display, fast pairing, a secure wrist strap and magnetic key.
Wings & Foil Setup
Your front wing defines the character of the ride. The EPIX comes standard with the forgiving Gliding G1500 glassfiber wing (92 cm wingspan); you can select a different front wing as an upgrade:
- Gliding G1500 (glassfiber, standard): large 1500 cm² profile, soft and forgiving – easy lift-off and stability for learning and cruising.
- Voyager C1100 (carbon, upgrade): smaller 1100 cm² wing – less drag, more agility and sharper turns for advancing riders.
- Voyager C1500 (carbon, upgrade): 1500 cm² carbon wing – plenty of lift with a stiffer, more direct response.
- Gliding C1500 (carbon, upgrade): high-aspect 1500 cm² carbon wing – the most efficient and fastest of the four with excellent glide.
Front & tail combination: the EPIX includes the stable Gliding Tail 320 for calm, predictable pitch – ideal for flat-water freeride and learning. A larger front wing (1500) gives maximum stability; a smaller 1100 wing makes the setup livelier. A carbon Surfing Tail 322 (accessory) adds a more playful feel.

Waydoo x Jobe EPIX FAQ
What makes the EPIX different from the other EVO models?
The EPIX is a Waydoo x Jobe collaboration with interchangeable inflatable boards (115 L + 80 L) plus a hardboard, instead of a single fixed board. Inflatables are light, forgiving and easy to transport and store, while the drivetrain matches the easy-going EVO Lite.
Why several boards?
The 115 L board gives maximum stability for learning; the 80 L board is more compact and lively for when you progress; and the hardboard adds a more performance-oriented option. You can swap inflatable board size in minutes, and everything comes in one set with a pump and transport bags.
How fast is the EPIX?
Top speed is around 36 km/h with the 4000 W Standard propulsion – relaxed and easy to control, the same drivetrain character as the EVO Lite.
Does it have sensors or Flight Assist?
No. Like the EVO Lite, the EPIX is sensor-free, which keeps it simple and affordable. For sensors, GPS and Flight Assist, see the Pro Plus, Max Plus or Master.
How long does the battery last and how long to charge?
The 1800 Wh Li-Ion battery delivers up to about 90 minutes of riding and charges in roughly 3.5 hours with the standard charger; the optional Inverter charger is faster. An optional 2300 Wh battery extends ride time.
Which front wing should I choose?
The standard Gliding G1500 (glassfiber, 92 cm span) is forgiving and ideal for learning. Upgrade to the carbon Gliding C1500 or Voyager C1500 for more speed and efficiency, or the Voyager C1100 for sharper, more agile turns.
Are the inflatable boards durable?
Yes – Jobe brings years of inflatable watersports experience. Inflatable construction is robust, impact-resistant and easy to transport, and packs down small for storage and travel.
Which mast should I choose – 27″ or 35″?
The 27″ (69 cm) mast is more forgiving in chop and shallower water; the 35″ mast suits deeper, cleaner water and more dynamic riding. Both feature multicolor LED lighting.
What is the difference between the standard and Inverter charger?
The Powerflight charger covers everyday charging. The Inverter Charger adds faster charging and reverse-charging, letting the battery power other devices.
Is it easy to transport?
Very – the inflatable boards pack into the included transport bags, and the modular drivetrain breaks into manageable parts, making the EPIX one of the most travel-friendly eFoils in the range.
